I feel a need… for another blog
Yet another web site?
Yeah. I want to keep the retro side of things here on LifeBits, so I’m writing about current projects on a new self-hosted blog called (confusingly enough) LifeBitsBlog (https://lifebitsblog.com).
OLD STUFF — Here
NEW STUFF — There
That new site is running on a Raspberry Pi 500 that sits on my desk. I rarely actually touch the thing; most of the time I interact with it via Raspberry Pi Connect.
Like this site, everything on LifeBitsBlog is available for free. I’ll probably irritate the heck out of some Raspberry Pi sites if I start publishing “how to” articles for free, but I really don’t need any additional retirement income.
And no need to worry; I’m not going to focus only on the Raspberry Pi side of things. I have other weird techie interests, like 360° and timelapse photography, astrophotography, space, AI (in a good way), home automation, MeshCore, and anything else that happens to catch my attention and obsess me for more than a few minutes. There will be plenty to write about on LifeBitsBlog, and I’m certainly not going to neglect documenting my long history in tech here at LifeBits.
Anyway, if you get a chance, visit https://lifebitsblog.com and be sure to bookmark it ‘cause at least for a while, I don’t think there will be a newsletter associated with it. Maybe eventually… but not right now. 😜
